Futureshifts - 0.3.8

These are the futureshifted templates from Future Sight in the following varieties: regular, textless, promo, split, artbackground, and mirrored. All six templates are available for download in this first post.

Use of the planeswalker, textless, promo, split, artbackground, and mirrored templates require having already installed the 0.3.8 version of the regular template. The promo template also requires the prior installation of the textless template.

These templates utilize optional foil gradients - get some here.

An example of the regular template can be seen below; the Grave Pact. The textless version is not pictured.

This is a split card version of the futureshift template.

This is a template for the art background version of futureshifted cards.

The original art background template was created by Lordpenguin, and I have built upon it to create this futureshifted version.

All of Lordpenguin's features are included, as well as the ability to use the fkih mana font, and optional artist paintbrushes.

Made by request, this is a mirrored version of the regular futureshift template.

It will have slightly different styling features than the regular futureshifts, due to being constructed under a development version of MSE.

This template requires packages that are part of the futureshift installation. It will not work unless you've already got futureshifts installed.

All right, i have downloaded the file, but i do not know where to put it, and with anything else. None of the forums explain how. Please respond. .

To answer your question, as a rule of thumb, we don't typically cover things like that here unless it's a template related issue that needs immeadiate addressing (for example, a template installer doesn't work at all.)

Anything else you can usually find at the official boards, where there is a search feature. I've used it to give you the following results:

All I put in the search was "installing a template" and these two were on the first page of results. In the future, I'd recommend just going there and searching, because honestly, we normally just ignore the question and direct you to those boards instead.

Would it be possible to make overlay/foil options for Normal/Flips/Splits/Promo/textless and include the five updates in one file? It would be much apreciated.

It was a little aggrovating that I had to download and install them one at a time.
Infact, you could put the others into the same one, since users decide which to install when they open it.

These will eventually get the foil treatment, when I get to it.

But no, I won't be packing them together. Why? Because some users don't want them all - why should they have to use the extra bandwidth downloading packages they don't want? I can't imagine its that hard to download the installers and run them one at a time.

Make sure you have the other futureshifts if you all want this too work. If well recieved i have mirrored splits, promo and textless on the go. Hope you all like.

I have here a new variation on the future split, mostly a load of rescripting, i've dubbed it topsy turvy, check the style tab to flip card1 and/or card2.
Not quite as i wished it but i can't take it further (the casting cost i wanted to work in the upwards direction and i wanted to switch the rules/flavour text when they are flipped) but all the rest works a treat. Enjoy
