Seven and a Halfth Edition (0.3.7)

Postby monkeychewtoy on Thu Aug 21, 2008 11:18 pm

At long last, I have updated the Seven and a Halfth Edition frames. For those unfamiliar, the Seven and a Halfth Edition is a mythical edition that exists between Seventh Edition and the frame update for Eighth Edition. It features the classic backgrounds from back in the day combined with the high-contrast white-on-dark name, type, and power/toughness bubbles from the Planar Chaos timeshifted cards. Also available are white-bordered rarities, Alpha-style land blending, and MagicMedieval card names. Enjoy!

Owie, do me a favor next time and edit the existing post. I worked my magic (no, not Magic) and merged these together, then deleted the old one this time. But really, your old thread could've been edited. And that saves me having to update download list links and such.

Yikes! Sorry about that. I didn't know what standard practice was. It won't happen again.

Thanks for fixing it for me.

I really love this template.

Is there a version for split or flip cards available?

I see.

Well, *rolls up sleeves* mama always said if you want something done right, you should do it yourself. I guess I'll just take a look at the template construction thingy and see if I can't kitbash my own. :)

(And don't worry, I read the readme on templates based on other users' work; I won't share it without trying to contact monkeychewtoy first.)

The most difficult part of making a flip version of this is making the frame images, which would require some level of editing expertise. You'll need to take the regular frames ad edit them into flip ones, without screwing up the background textures :P

Indeed, LP is right. Splits wouldn't be hard; flips would be tough. Way past the skill levels of most of us.

As for the rules, that's really meant to stop you from posting your own new version of this exact template, not to prevent custom split and flip versions.
