CBG's Planeswalkers (0.3.8)

Postby artfreakwiu on Wed Jun 18, 2008 3:58 pm

A few examples, each rendered in the same template!
ImageImage
This template has a default setting that loads an image frame so that if you are not using images with transparent regions, you can just have a regular framed image. On the flip side, if you are using an image featuring transparencies, go into the style options tab, set the dimensions for your image (width ratio, height ratio), then load your image (when the w/h ratios are in use, the image frame disappears.)

v.2.0: Now with Planes!

This might be a stupid question, but I downloaded the planeswalker + plane template, and can use the 'walker easily. Though I can't find out how to find the Plane template. Is it it's own temlate, or do I need to change the h/w ratio's?
Looks great though.

Make a land using the planeswalker template, and all will become clear.

I have downloaded the template and installed it, but the name font is wrong. I have Matrix Bold Small Caps, but for some reason the program is using a different font. How do I get it to use the proper font? I have had to do this before with the normal font by renaming it "MATRIX" what is the name the program recognizes for this template?

The font used for the name of this template actually isn't MatrixBoldSmallCaps, its MatrixRegularSmallCaps.

Thanks! Where might I find Matrix Regular Small Caps for free download?

MatrixRegularSmallCaps is a commercial only font; we aren't free to share it. Sorry. You'll have to locate it on your own by some means.

I've put up an update to this template - I hope art_freak doesn't mind. If he objects, I can find his version from prior to my update.

My changes include:
- Now, no matter what colors (or lack of colors) you choose, if you've chosen a land frame, the plane frame is what's shown. It won't ever mess up and alter the fields like it did previously.
- Now, typing "Plane" in the card type area defaults to the Plane frame. This change is only effective in this template, so if you switch from this template to, say, magic-new, the card won't be on the land frame (unless its not on default).

Typing PLANEswalker defaults to the Plane frame too.

Crap. I'll talke it down 'till I can alter the regex to fix it, then repost. Sorry.

Edit: And its fixed.

Meh, updates are always fine by me. You keep up the MTG stuff, so you're bound to notice the need for an update before me. If you do notice something and it needs updated to play nicely with the other templates, feel free to do so. No hard feelings or offense taken. :)
