This is a thread created to store the Horror Style Magic template created for the Horror themed community set project, Horrors of Nocturne.

The zip features both mana-fonts used, as well as the font used for p/t, name, type, artist, and copyright.

If too long of a name or typeline is used, strange behavior may occur.

The mana fonts used are magic-mana-large-dark and magic-mana-small-dark. The fonts used are MPlantin and Attic Antique Demibold.

These templates now utilize optional foil gradients - get some here.

I've updated this template to use optional foil gradients.

I find that the background for the text box is too intrusive, and that sometimes the text gets a bit lost in the background and becomes hard to read. Is there as easy fix for this (preferably for someone with little or no coding or artistic talent).

Would appreciate any help or advice.

Not really - I've taken some steps already to try to make the text show up against the burlap. That's why there is a whitish "glow" around the text, if you look carefully. But altogether, I think this is just going to remain a downside of this template.
