1) No, I can't use the other images. The problem is that the invisible styles need grey areas, not lightened areas. When masks can sap colors from areas, then what you propose would be feasable.
2) While it's similar, my styles are old... and I mean old:
http://forum.tcgplayer.com/showthread.php?t=47189As it developed:

I developed the style 3 years ago for the original frames, and at a friend's request translated it over to the new style.
I also have had the intention to bring it to MSE2 for almost a year:
http://forum.tcgplayer.com/showpost.php ... tcount=188Sorry if it's too similar, but all thing's considered - I did it first.
EDIT: A different style is a different style isn't it? My invisble vs styles feature the whole card as an image, and added drop shadows to make text more legible.
Now look at these MTG styles:

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=327Comparing the examples I posted, one's a combo of old & modern and the other of old & pshifted as well as some different fonts and colors between the two. Nobody screamed rip then because they were different, (even though Butt and I did CS first), no need to do it now.
Plus, my invisible styles feature some nifty pinstriping.
