Magic Workstation Export Template for Magic (0.3.8)

Postby Pichoro on Mon Jun 29, 2009 10:39 am

This is a template to simplify the process of adding custom sets to Magic Workstation.

This template was made by myself, based on code by Seeonee, Innuendo and Idle Muse.

Instructions for use are included in the header of the text file that this template creates.

Enjoy!

I don't know what I did "wrong", but when I install this template, nothing noticeable happens. Where is this text file?

You have to run it on your set.

Open the set, and choose File -> Export -> HTML. In that window, you'll be able to choose the MWS template, then set the options. Click OK, and you'll have a window that will allow you to choose your save location. Then it will create a text file and a set of images.

This has been updated again. This time, there's also a Vanguard export template, so you can play with custom Vanguards in MWS. And the big one - now, even if you choose not to use the images, there's some measure of mana symbol recognition in the textbox, so that the images generated by MWS will feature mana symbols in their rules text.

And now there's a Planechase MWS Export template available.
